You Wouldn’t Believe the New Opportunities! – he said to me.

You gotta do the thing. Your new site isn’t going to build itself and new customers aren’t going to just appear.

I received an email this morning that made me laugh and warmed my heart. It was from one of my favorite new customers for whom we've just recently built and launched a brand new site with a full voice and branding overhaul. It was a good project and I'm proud of it.

I've been having a hard time getting the customer and his team to commit to some website training sessions due to how busy they've all become in the past few days.

Customer writes to me:
"We apologize again for the delay. You would be surprised by the amount of opportunities we are getting as a result of the new website. Thank you again!"

Well, I certainly can't fault them for being so busy as a result of new work coming in from the website I built for them!

So to Mr. Customer I say this:
"I am thrilled to see business picking up for you and your team, and while I am very happy I am not at all surprised. This was supposed to happen! Congratulations for making the decision to move forward with your project."

I've had some pretty great testimonials from customers over the years, but this one was probably my favorite. He's so overwhelmed by new opportunities and new work that he can't stop long enough to do a site training session.

And that is why you gotta just do the thing.
